Partners Minimize

The Dove Campaign - Thanks to the generous donation from our customers and Jacksons Food Stores' match we have donated tens of thousands of dollars to the Idaho Partners for Justice Project. This agency provides free legal assistance to victims of domestic violence throughout the State of Idaho. Our customers purchased a Dove for $1 and provided peace to families of domestic violence.

Bronco Athletic Association - Jacksons donated $65,000 in support of the Boise State Broncos last year. We have pledged a total of $250,000 to the creation of the “Jacksons Track”, the largest indoor track in the Pacific Northwest and the only championship track suitable for world class indoor track and field in the west. This facility is located in Nampa, Idaho and provides our athletes with a place to train and compete indoors.

St. Alphonsus- Great communities always have great medical institutions as part of their foundations. That’s why Jacksons continues to support the St. Alphonsus Foundation with a gift $25,000 in 2006. This fund raising arm supports advance healing at St Al’s Foundation.  As our community continues to grow so does its health care needs, that’s why Jacksons stands as a partner with St. Alphonsus.

Albertson College of Idaho - Jacksons is aware of the importance of strong Universities and Colleges in Idaho. That’s why we have participated in “The Boone Fund” with a gift of $10,000 to support on going operating needs for Albertson College of Idaho. St. Jude Children’s Hospital - Jacksons Food Stores with the help of our customers donated $13,000 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in 2005. St. Jude is unlike any other pediatric treatment and research facility anywhere. Discoveries made here have completely changed how the world treats children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. St. Jude is where some of today's most gifted researchers are able to do more science, more quickly. Where doctors across the world send their toughest cases and most vulnerable patients. Where no one pays for treatment beyond what is covered by insurance, and those without insurance are never asked to pay. They have built America's 3rd-largest health-care charity, with a model that keeps the costs down and the funds flowing, so the science never stops. St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is internationally recognized for its pioneering work in finding cures and saving children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. Founded by the late entertainer Danny Thomas and based in Memphis, TN., St. Jude freely shares its discoveries with scientific and medical communities throughout the world. Jacksons is proud to be part of this cause.

Our customers’ generous donations have been matched with company funds resulting in over $45,000 donated to date. Violence in the home affects 7,000 Idahoans annually.
